The Utility of the Subalar Graft in Nostril Symmetry in Rhinoplasty

Overview
A crooked nose can arise from several anatomical causes, including an asymmetric upper jaw. A subalar graft is placed at the base of the nostril to build up an underdeveloped area of that jaw. The authors set out to show the graft's effect on nostril symmetry and to propose an algorithm for using it in both open and endonasal rhinoplasty.
