HMS Warspite gunner burned at Jutland (1916-05-31); lost eyelids. Admitted Queen's Hospital Sidcup 1917-08-08; Gillies operated 1917-11-12 and 11-30, pedicles returned Jan 1918; further surgery Aug 1921. Stent "to contour for the nasal dorsum" — nose was part of the mask graft.
